He received his MFA in sculpture from Georgia State University in Atlanta. His sculpture has been exhibited since the late 1980s throughout Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Washington, D.C. He currently lives and works in North Carolina.

Davidt is known for his mixed media sculpture. Often figurative, with kinetic elements, his pieces are unique characters.
