Craig Griffin

Atlanta, Georgia, b. 1961

Following two heart attacks and the loss of his 16 year old son, Craig Griffin began searching for the calm from the storms that had overtaken his life. At the age of 50, Craig began to carve wooden sculptures. What once was a hobby, flourished into an insatiable love for creating art that would eventually turn into a career.

Craig found his voice by creating memories of a life-well lived by reclaiming his love of working with his hands but in a brand new medium. His current work of reclaiming objects to give them new purpose and hope that very much mirrors his own existence.
