He studied at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. Rohlf's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States.

His new work continues his strong use of color, texture, and geometric forms. Rohlf's abstract paintings and works on paper are created through several layers. His dynamic use of line and shape lend a rhythmic quality to the work.
