Randal Lagro
Toldeo, Ohio, b.1958
He studied at El Camino College in Torrance, CA, the Graduate Academy of Art, San Francisco, CA from 1986-89, and from 1991-94 was Printmaker at Graphic Impressions, Taos, NM. In 2000, LaGro was invited to work in the historic Georgia O'Keefe Studio in Taos, New Mexico. As a painter and printmaker, LaGro creates work that embodies realms of fantasy and the unconscious. The ethereal atmosphere that permeates his work consists of layers of imagery both abstract and recognizable. LaGro's rich color palette further draws the viewer into his unique creations.
